Taking care of the vineyards and the olive grove, working in the cellar are the main activities in this farm..
We want to produce wines that represent the characteristics of the varieties and the expression they allow its vineyards..
To preserve the authenticity of our wines we believe that interventions in the cellar should be limited to essential..
Our goal is to be able to live of our work at the farm, in our land, in the utmost respect for the environment..
Roberto Lepri is a full time farmer and winemaker, lives and works on his farm, which is located literally “at the gates” of Perugia, in Umbria. Here is what he tells us: “I was born into a family of farmers. It was my grandfather to make me fall in love with this profession. Later, having inherited the land, I decided to dedicate myself to this activity despite my law studies. The substantial investments made in the farm gave me the final push to professionally undertake this activity. I learned many things from my grandparents and, over the years, improved my knowledge with specific studies. Vine and olive trees growers are typical figures of our Umbrian hillsides. My everyday hard work and total dedication are totally paid back when holding a bottle of my wine or my extra virgin olive oil knowing that this is the result of my knowledge and my ability to be in a sound relationship with this nature, this land and this environment”.
Roberto Lepri practices organic farming and winemaking, from vintage 2015, after three years required by law for conversion, his wine and his extra virgin olive oil are certified organic to confirm his total respet for his land and nature around him.
